The winners of the 2013 WaMH in PC Bursaries programme has now closed.
Due to funding issues there will not be a bursary scheme in 2014. We are actively seeking an alternative funding source and, if successful in finding one, details of the new WaMH in PC bursary awards will be published here so please keep checking for updates.

The 2013 round of WaMH in PC bursaries aimed to encourage innovation in the following areas through the provision of small grants up to a maximum of £3,000:
A WaMH in PC bursary could enable you to deliver a project that makes a significant difference to the people you work with, whilst demonstrating the key features of positive relationships, such as:
Anyone with a link to Primary Care Mental Health in Wales and those able to demonstrate a clear and justifiable benefit in relation to the aims of a WaMH in PC bursary.
Category 1 - To improve the experience of dementia patients and their carers
To apply for a category 1 bursary individuals and organisations must:
Category 2 - To support the local delivery of Part 1 of the Mental Health (Wales) Measure 2010
To apply for a category 2 bursary individuals and or/organisations must:
Category 3 - Raise awareness of mental health, or impact on mental wellbeing or improve mental health promotion
To apply for a category 3 bursary, applicants are invited from services and organisations from both within and outside the NHS and must:
Note: Previous WaMH in PC bursary winners are eligible to apply for a bursary provided they have fulfilled all the terms of their previous award.

Your application will only be assessed if:
The judging panel is appointed by the WaMH in PC core group for a period of one year.
The judging panel will include - as a minimum - someone who uses primary care services/a carer, a General Practitioner,a mental health professional and a policy maker.
The core group may appoint additional judges to the panel as necessary and these will be an appointed Chair (from the core group) of the judging panel who will have the casting vote in any split decision on awarding bursaries.
